Final Solution
Bing Bong is our FTC DECODE competition robot. It is almost entirely 3D‑printed and designed with reliability, consistency, and efficient game‑play strategy at its core.
Drive Train
It features a mecanum drive train for omnidirectional movement. In addition, we utilize a pinpoint odometry system that allows us to create highly consistent autonomous routines.
Hopper & Outtake
We utilized a gravity‑fed hopper and a double flywheel shooter for accurate and consistent scoring throughout the season.
Throughout the season, the robot underwent continuous iterations to improve performance, reduce jams, better support our electrical system, and maximize consistency.
Electrical System & Wiring
After our first competition, we learned a great deal about wire management. We fixed our mistakes and came back stronger for the Greenwood competition, where we were the second member of the winning alliance.
